Marshall island
A big problem on the marshall island is the drinking water because the seawater contaminats the groundwater. So the people collect water in large containers and they have a filter system.
An other problem is that the corals are dying in over 870 reefs because of the climate change. Thats why many fishs are dying because they don’t have any place to live. So the people have fewer fish to eat.
The coasts of 1200 islands have been heavily eroded so the coasts are breaking away. Thats the reason why residents plant trees on the coast to hold the soil.
Also a big problem is that the water is rising and houses are flooded.
One example is Johnny Luther and his family. Johnny is at the micronesia-challenge to protect the islands. The residents don’t know what to do because the hole island is sinking.
